We undertook a parent app cost saving case study with one of our schools in June 2017 to identify some of the costs they had spent without using a website efficiently, including having no parent app in place. In September 2017, the school implemented a new website drive, and installed the Smart School Parent App. The info graph below demonstrates some of the savings made through using the website and parent app.

The Smart School Websites Parent App integrates with our websites seamlessly meaning staff only need to login to a single admin area, and any information added to the school website is also sent directly to the Parent App along with a push notification.

Conclusion

The cost savings are clear, and time savings have been costed against average hourly rates for admin staff. However the productivity increase is almost immeasurable; admin staff can now free up time once spent chasing paper and speaking with parents to work on other tasks.
