Our free to download mobile app has been designed for students to keep up to date with everything taking place at college.
The app has some great features, and most importantly allowing your phone to accept the push notifications will allow the college to contact you in real-time, making important communication so much easier and quicker than any other methods.

How to use our App
Step 1
Download the App
Visit either the App Store or Google Play to download our App.
Step 2
Accept Notifications
The first time the App opens, you will be asked to accept notifications – please ensure you select “Allow”.
Step 3
Register or Login
You can login with your student number and a pin that your College will provide.
Step 4
Choose your settings
The first time you use the App you will be taken to the settings section, here you can select all information streams that are relevant to you based on your interests and subjects. You can edit these settings at any time.
Connect to College
Validate your account
In order for your college to automatically send you timetables, reports etc from College data you need to verify your account using the ‘Connect to College’ section in the settings area.
Your college will supply a unique ID and PIN, to complete this process, head to the settings section either from the dashboard or the settings icon at the top or bottom navigation icon.
When in the settings area, scroll to the bottom. Under the ‘Connect with College’ area there are 2 boxes – enter your PIN and ID here and press the authorise button.
When you leave the settings area and go to any other area of the app your settings are saved.
Features
Notifications
Your College can send push notifications direct to your phone, these notifications can be simple reminders, important messages or even include links to complete forms or view events. At the top of the screen you can filter between read and unread notifications.
News
The news feed works based on your settings; it only displays information that is relevant to you, as well as all College news. If you have selected multiple categories you can filter between these using the menu at the top of the screen.
Tasks
Here you can add tasks such as homework, reminders, things to do etc. Once created you can tap an individual task to view more details and mark it complete. You can filter the display using the buttons at the top of the screen.
You can even take a photo using your phones camera of homework / tasks.
Timetable
Here you can add subjects to your timetable. You can give further information about classrooms and teachers. You can add week A or B if applicable. Once you have added you timetable you can filter the view using the buttons at the top of the screen.
Your timetable might also pull in and update automatically from College data.
Documents
Your College may add documents that are relevant and important to you in this section. Simply tap any of the documents in the list to view more information and the document itself.
Events
College events that are relevant to you are listed here. Events may be include simple date and time information, or may include forms, maps and even videos. You can filter the display using the buttons at the top of the screen.
Forms
You can complete any online forms in this section. Again, you can filter the display based on your settings using the button at the top of the screen.
Links
Your College can populate this area with relevant and important links. Simply tap one of the links in the list to visit the website.
Exams
Your exam timetable will appear here. Exams are show based on your settings. You can filter the display using the button at the top of the screen.
Handbook
Your College may include sections of the student handbook in this area. Simply tap an item in the list to view it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can just anyone download the App?
Anyone can download the App, however if your school has set up the app so that users need a username and password then only those with a valid username and password can access the information.
The App displays information that is freely available on the school website.
I have forgotten my password
Contact your school who will be happy to supply this information. You only need to login to the App once.
Why is the App rated 17+ on the App Store?
Apple have rated the App as 17+ as it gives ‘unrestricted access to the internet’ via the links section. The links within this section are set by school staff and the App opens the native web browser – the same as opening Safari directly.
Google have rated the app as 3+.
How will I know about App Updates?
The App will be updated periodically to improve features and fix bugs. The App will notify you that there is a newer version available, as well as through the notification area.
What devices does the App work on?
The App is supported on all Apple devices running iOS 9 and above, and non Apple devices running Android 4 and above.
